Professor and Head
A renowned public health researcher with decades of teaching and research experience, Dr KR Nayarhas more than 70 publications and four books to his credit. He was the DAAD-INNOVOTEC Professor at the Institute of Tropical medicine and hygiene, Heidelberg University Germany. He served the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi as Professor for many years before he joined Global Institute of Public Health as Professor and Head. He has produced more than 25 PhDs.His areas of interest are Social Determinants of health, Health Policy, Research Methodology and Environmental Health.

Honorary Professor
Dr. S S Lal comes with more than two decades of experience in global health. He is currently the Global TB Director of PATH based at USA. He holds many important positions such as WHO Core Group member on PPM DOTS, WHO designated TB expert, WHO designated Trainer of Trainers in TB. He had worked with WHO and Global Fund in different capacities in the past. He is a Guest lecturer in RIT Tokyo, Japan. He has more than 40 publications and conference papers to his credit. He teaches Health Management, Public private partnerships in health, HIV/TB Epidemiology at the Institute.

Renowned cardiologist with keen interest and experience in research, Prof Dr CG Bahuleyan leads the research portfolio on cardiovascular diseases. He is the Principal investigator of the first Atrial Fibrillation registry in Kerala recently initiated by the Ananthapuri hospital with the support of Cardiology Society of India

Adjunct Additional Professor
Dr. Anant Kumar is an Associate Professor at the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, India. Currently, he is a Visiting Scholar at the Public Health Leadership Program, Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under the Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence fellowship. He has been trained in Psychology at the University of Allahabad, and in Social Medicine and Community Health at the Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. His areas of work and research interests are public health, women's health, mental health, HIV/AIDS, population and reproductive health, international health, public health policy and leadership. At GIPH, he will take the courses in Reproductive Child Heath, Gender and Development, and Public Health and Policy.

Dr Ambarish Dutta comes with decades of experience in implementing public health projects, conducting operational research into control strategies, designing and conducting assessment and evaluation studies besides teaching epidemiology and biostatistics.

A medical doctor with PhD in Epidemiology from University of Exeter and Plymouth, UK he was part of the World Health Organization's TB Control technical team in India for close to a decade

Dr. Mohanan Nair comes with vast experience spread over three decades, as a clinician, public health researcher, administrator and a teacher. He is a Fogarty Fellow in Bioethics and his areas of interest are Health administration,Health Policy, Bioethics and Chronic disease epidemiology.

Dr. Hemachandran currently serves as the Advisor to the Government of Qatar. In his career spread over more than 25 years, he had served Government of Kerala, The European Commission, The US Government, The German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and World Health Organization in various capacities. He had won Meritorious Service Award (US Government - Department of State) in 2011 and Roll of Honour in 2011 (USAID India). A registered nurse cum public health specialist, Minu coordinates the Valiyathura Community based health registry study and assists in the conduct of the certificate program on health data analysis. She had done research work on physical activity among high school students- levels and correlatesand had recently completed the analysis of the Pain and Palliative care policy of Kerala
