Dr. C. G. Bahuleyan is an interventional cardiologist with over 42 years of clinical practice and 33 years of medical teaching experience. He is Chairman of the Cardiovascular Centre at Ananthapuri Hospitals & Research Institute and an Honorary Professor and Research Guide at the Global Institute of Public Health.
Clinical and Academic Experience
Dr. Bahuleyan has more than four decades of clinical experience and over three decades of medical teaching experience. He formerly served as Professor and Head of Cardiology at Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram.
Cardiovascular Leadership
He has helped shape regional cardiac care as Founder Director of the Kerala Heart Foundation, Founder President of the Interventional Cardiology Council of Kerala, and Founder President of the Society for Coronary Imaging and Physiology.
Research and Professional Recognition
Dr. Bahuleyan is a PhD Research Guide for the Kerala University of Health Sciences at GIPH and has published more than 100 research works in national and international journals. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is also an active member of the European Society of Cardiology and the Society for Heart Failure and Transplantation.
